A Brief Biography of David Hall

 

          David Hall has a proven track record of 30 continuous years as one of the areas leading real estate brokers, being named one of Austin’s Top Ten Agents in The Austin Business Journal. During his long career he has personally sold over 1400 properties, winning numerous awards, including twice being chosen as the Top Broker in Texas by Better Homes & Gardens, and attested to with a Proclamation signed by The Governor of Texas. As a Vice President of Prudential Owens Realty he received a special award for Earning $1,000,000 in Commissions, and he was honored with the "Sales Award of the Decade" from the Nash Phillips/Copus Co. 

        David was educated at The University of Texas at Austin and The South Texas College of Law. He is one of only 5% of all Realtors nationally to hold the prestigious CRS Designation.  He is the author of two books on investment real estate, a former Instructor at the Austin Institute of Real Estate, and was co-host of The Austin Real Estate Television Show on NBC-TV for three years. In 1984 he was one of the very first brokers nationally to use sophisticated computer analysis techniques to measure investment real estate returns. In 1990 David was honored by being chosen one of the Outstanding Young Men in America.       

        Today he is the owner of his own firm David Hall & Co. which provides professional and personal service to his many clients. Investors from around the country and the globe have recognized his expertise and innovative marketing approaches as exemplified by his pioneering website duplexman.com, ranked the # 1 duplex website nationally by 5 major search engines. David Hall has been individually ranked the #1 BROKER in the AUSTIN MLS* in the  multifamily listings sold category too many times to count.

        He has been involved with Habitat for Humanity and is a popular volunteer reader of Western novels for Recorded Books on Tape for the Blind. David has been married for many years to his gregarious wife, Karen Ann, who is a very successful businessperson in her own right. They live in Austin where they raise Boxers and English Bulldogs, and enjoy gardening and travel. His favorite author was Robert Heinlein, and owns many of his original works including "The Man Who Sold the Moon..." He was also one of the first members of Dr. Carl Sagan's The Planetary Society. When he gets any spare time his hobby is fishing.
